Just Three days to go

 

The excitement is building after getting two good cycles in this weekend and now having just three days to go. We managed to get out on both Friday and Saturday afternoon. Clocking up the Km’s on the Fallowfield loop (which strangely enough is a line not a loop). Having talked about this trip for a year now, originally, before sense prevailed, planning to cycle to Italy, it is hard to believe it is finally just a few days away.

The idea that we can get more people to cycle with us is working, in Manchester at least. Last Saturday two of Beth’s mates came with us and this Saturday Colin, Beth’s boyfriend and her mate Cooper came with us. Both seemed to really enjoy it but when the sun is shining who wouldn’t.

 

The weekend was rounded off with a final team meeting over some Sheesha in Rusholme. Will, who we nominated as project manager a long time ago, was up in Manchester and as he will be in charge of the blog while we are cycling we had a few details to sort out, namely how to get pictures to him while we are away. It also became apparent that we still haven’t finalised what maps we need to take or which route out of Manchester we will be taking, quite important details it would seem.

 

Having sorted everything out now and having had a lovely sunny weekend to go cycling in I went to bed last night excited about the whole trip. However woke up this morning to rain which I hope won’t last till Thursday.
